3 weeks since my last work out!!

going to the gym today ... will weigh in. Hope I did not gain. I have been working long hours and traveling with no time for the gym! then I had a severe ankle sprain 1 week ago today.I tried unsuccessfully to play tennis this weekend. other than that I have been resting this ankle. I have also been a little low energy mentally and physically, I miss how working out makes you feel great-happy.

Sunday

hmmm well I have worked out hard all week got a grueling training session from a trainer and I repeated it every other day since. today is my rest day but I'm feeling restless and it may rain later so I'm getting ready to go out for a bike ride. I weighed myself every other day and have lost 1 lb since monday (BIG BOO HOO) I'm also about to start my period not sure if some of that is water retention but for as much as I sweat this week I should be dehydrated! I do feel bloated today though. Let's see what the scale says my trainer wanted me to shoot for 4 lbs a week. we will see. it usually takes me about 10 days before I loose anything I should be losing by now. I'm frustrated.

JUNE 8 Monday

Well had a great weekend traveled up to Boston Friday night then in the AM to Kenningston New Hampshire which borders Exeter. Stunningly beautiful very green and lush and classic old New England. We ate well. Rocky's famous Burger a new burger joint for lunch. slumi platter, mussles , then lobster and grilled corn and chorizo and kelbasa sausage for dinner! with a peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert. amazing cooked by Josh and Rick. I passed on the mussles did not want to go over my calories and tried a half tail of lobster a 2 inch piece of chorizo and 1 ear of corn , then a small serving of dessert. 1 beer all night. pretty good I think I stayed withing my calorie range. Sunday am had greek boueberry yogurt for breakfast then left for Kittery Maine to see Alice but Alice was not there. we hung at her beautiful seaside cottage, then went to Bob's Clam Hut in Kittery which is really famous and I had fish and chips a half portion and ice tea. we went back to Kenningston then took the train from Exeter to Boston and the Bus from Boston to NYC and walked home. On the way down on the bus it made it's usualy stop at McDonalds and I had the grilled southwest chicken salad. no fries no soda just water, delicious and hit the spot. will weigh myself today at the gum. more later. trying to decide what to have for breakfast.

DAY 5

Yesterday was a good training day. did 1 hour hard core stair stepper in the am and another hour in the evening b4 dinner. worked hard and felt it. It's raining so Bootcamp was cancelled. I'm eating my Jillian Michaels breakfast bowl and then going to the gym for weight training and basketball today! yeah!

We leave late this afternoon for New Hamshire for the weekend so probably no gym work out this weekend but will take my mitts and ball to throw around and running shoes.

afternoon

well I did not have time to pack a lunch so this is what I had. a coffee with skim milk, komboocha 70 calories, chicken sandwich and some fires so don't think the fries will help me stay under 1300 today. will have to hit the gym again for sure for a 2nd hour of cardio. Ray the bootcamp trainer texted that a big storm is predicted for early am so looks like camp will be cancelled in the am. will have to go to the gym instead.

DAY 3 1471 calories

BOOT CAMP today� got up at 630 to walk and feed puggy.� had myself a protein shake with udo oil (essential fatty fish omega oils at 120 calories a serving!) with milk because that fish oil in the water based shake is NASTY. so starting with 360 right off the bat!�

DAY 2 1367 calories consumed

Yesterday I consumed 283 calories more than my BMR of 1323. I'm hoping my workout and daily activities created enough of a defecit. ... I'll weigh myself today at the gym

Went to my gym CHINATOWN�YMCA: ok I weighed 119 so at least I did not gain. I jumped rope for 10 mins then did step ups holding the basketball over head to get my heart rate up and get good and warmed up.

then I shot hoops for an hour. was not high intensity but it was definitely fun and I moved, kept my heart rate elevated with quick bursts of speed (to chase ball) jumping when shooting and constantly moving.

In the PM I went to the ghetto gym HAMILTON FISH: did the lifecycle stepper for 1 hour straight at a fat buring intensity which I steadily increased the speed on throughout. then I did some ab work and read a trash magazine.

came home and had a recovery shake then went to bed to read asleeo by 1030.
