Amrith & Tania left for Perth

Yesterday night 19th Feb Amrith left for Perth after the wedding . And on the 20th night Tania left to Perth . Onela & Garry went on honeymoon to Philippines on the 18th . After dinner at Shanthini Weerasingha’s too came . Both days I dropped them . Tania had met chayenna mom & dad at the airport Today I fixed the vessel Mt Ceto on STO tender .

Breakup with Lal - continues

Spent the morning at home . Went with Tani to see the film Rani at Havelock city mall . Missed the 6.45 due to wrong ticket purchase . And re bought for 9 pm and went home late . My first visit to Havelock city .

Family trip to Cadjan Wild - Yala

Trip was organized by tania on a offer by Terrina . Family with Ryan . Left colombo on the 3rd at 8 am reached the hotel at 1 pm. I drove the distance. Relaxed the entire day . Terrina and Ajith gave a surprised visit and stayed. 4th morning went on safari 6 - 10.30. FOS not sight leopard but encountered a a lone elephant. Went again evening safari 3- 6 pm. Ajith and Terrina joined . We saw leopard . Stayed in the camping room.

Arrived on Sq 223 at 2.30pm. By main baggage did not arrive was given AUSD 150/- for inconvenience. Got my bad the following day. Tani came to pick me.got lost on the way back:-)

Muri Akka /Thawalanthenna

went to hendala convent ( 7 th Feb) for her 50th jubilee celebrations. Onela came with us. In the afternoon drove to thawalanthenna and stayed at a inn @ thawalanthenna. Then on sunday morning went to the bungalowfor inspection. and put up the tents. Came back the same day evening at abt 11 pm.

Finally the Drivers License

The Day 2/2 /2009. I got my drivers license. I did the test and got 39 out of 40. and did the driving test and passed. Which means after nearly 30 years of driving without a sri lankan license i finally managed to get one. A HISTORIC DAY in my life!
