Little India is one of the most famous districts in Singapore which is popular amongst tourists for its low priced good quality products. It shows Singapore’s vibrant shopping culture on the entire street. Little India once was a racecourse full of cattle herders. There are several outlets here selling flower garlands as well as dirt-cheap electronics at the same place. Apart from this, the street is full of modern eateries and boutique hotels.� One thing worth noticing is that the religious establishments of 3 different religions, Hindu, Muslim and Christianity. Do not forget to stop and eat at one of the famous eateries in Little India.�

A visit to this place was never on my wish list but I decided to visit this place after I came across it online while booking my bus tickets from www.redbus.sg, which showed Little India as a bus boarding point. Make sure that you visit the Tekka Centre, which is quite famous in Little India and across the rest of Singapore for its large selection of hawker stalls. In addition, a bright yellow and orange warehouse sells products at excellent prices especially if you want to buy fresh produce in bulk. If you are looking to buy quality products, fabric and materials Tekka Centre is definitely one of the places that you should visit.�

On the second floor of this establishment, you will find a sea of Chinese, Indian, Malaysian and Singaporean hawker stalls that serve cheap and tasty dishes in rather rough and ready surroundings. For those who have a sweet tooth it is worth hunting down this eatery called Chi Kak, which serves pale rice with a filling paste of sugared beans. Try this dish once and you will definitely order it one more time. I did!!� There are also plenty of drinks that you can have ranging from squeezed limesoda to fresh juices.� The centre may not have all the frills and decorations like other hawker centres but it offers a great choice of unusual dishes, which is one of the most fantastic ways to experience the whole of Little India on a single plate.�

There were about 3 Operators plying on the route between Little India and Kamper. The One Travel and Tours, Starmart Express and Transstar were some of the popular ones. The One Travel and Tours had about 4 buses plying throughout the day with the first one departing at 11:00 am in the morning. There were about 3 more buses between 11:00 am to 10:30 pm from this Operator.� Starmart Express has about 4 buses plying throughout the day with fares starting from SGD40.� I prefer travelling through the One Travel and Tours as my previous experience with this Operator was great and the staff was quite interactive. This Operator operates only the Executive class of buses and if you wish to travel in a luxury bus, you will have to book either the Starmart Express or Transstar. The fares for both these Operators start from SGD60.�

Ketika anda tinggal lebih dalam di kota Pahlawan ini anda akan menyadari bahwa disini memiliki percampuran penduduk yang terdiri dari orang-orang asli Indonesia, Islam, Belanda dan Tionghoa. Satu-satunya masalah yang melanda kota ini adalah kemacetannya yang terkenal. Saya mengunjungi beberapa taman botani yang tersebar luas di atas berhektar-hektar tanah, Museum Sampoerna, beberapa Masjid, Gereja dan pasar besar. Tinggal di kota ini akan membuat lubang di kantong saya karena mahalnya akomodasi dan saya memutuskan untuk mengadakan tur singkat saja ke kota ini dalam satu hari penuh dan lebih memilihh untuk menuju ke tujuan saya berikutnya yang berangkat pada tengah malam.

Saya telah memesan tiket bus saya dari situs redbus.id saat saya baru saja tiba di Surabaya pada pagi hari agar saya dapat langsung pergi meninggalkan Surabaya pada tengah malam seperti yang sudah saya rencanakan sebelumnya di daftar rencana liburan saya. Saya pernah pergi ke Yogyakarta yang mana dulu masih merupakan kota yang relatif lebih kecil dan masih dalam pengembangan. Ini tidak menarik banyak turis yang bepergian ke Yogyakarta dan pada waktu itu hanya ada 2 Operator bus yang melayani rute ini. Hingga kini hanya kedua operator ini saja yang ada di situs web. Operator Bus Eka memiliki sekitar 8 bus yang melakukan perjalanan dari Kota Pahlawan Surabaya ke Kota Pelajar Yogyakarta yang dimulai dari pukul 08.30 di pagi hari dan frekuensi bus ada setiap 3 jam sekali. Jadi jika anda bepergian dengan Operator ini anda dapat memilih waktu yang nyaman yaitu antara 20.30 dan 22.30 malam. Karena saya sedang dalam perjalanan antar kota yang pendek, saya memutuskan untuk memesan Bus pada pukul 22.30 malam sehingga saya bisa mendapatkan cukup waktu untuk tur ke seluruh bagian kota Surabaya dan kemudian menuju Yogyakarta. Rinjani adalah operator mewah yang menjalani rute di antara dua kota ini. Bagi mereka yang mencari kemewahan, Rinjani adalah salah satu Operator terbaik karena saya pernah bepergian dengan mereka pada beberapa waktu lalu. Namun, mereka hanya memiliki 2 bus yang berangkat, pertama pada pukul 19.00 malam dan yang lainnya pada pukul 21.00 malam. Tiketnya ditawarkan dengan harga yang sedikit lebih tinggi dan ini cukup jelas karena Operator ini menawarkan berbagai fasilitas mewah di dalam Bus.

Buses are a remarkable approach to travel from Panvel to Surat. Essentially after, they (transport workers) take perfectly care of you. In venture with my own understanding of crossing to Surat was first evaluated. Together with a companion, I was once making a trip to Surat just to take a break from the tiring work presence. Surat is outstanding for its business focus of materials and jewels. Having found out about this city a great deal from others, my companion and I wanted to visit this place amid a long end of the week. The bus passed through beautiful sceneries and landscapes, soon it became dark and we got involved in listening songs.

We boarded the bus from Kalambolli, opp to Mc Donalds at round 11pm and reached Surat at 4am, we got down at Kadodara Chowkadi. The ride of 308kms from Panvel was once certainly not traumatic. Visiting by way of bus is anything I have always adored, the reason being it helps to gather many journey recollections. Each of us chitchatted for long hours. We had sizzling coffee and burger from the refreshment nook and clicked some images too.�

After we arrived at Surat around evening, by that time our van was prepared to take us to our hotel. We accommodated at resort Rasraj, a couple of kilometres far from the transport stop. It was two days remain in Surat; we delighted in every zones of interest here and managed our yearning nibbles with scrumptious provincial food and two or three well-known desserts.

Surat literally means the good land and is a port city in Gujarat. It is considered to be one of the most populated cities in the country and is referred to by the locals as the city of flyovers. In the last decade it has emerged as the centre of textiles and diamonds. This commercial marvel is located on the south banks of the Tapi river which is around 306Kms away from the capital. Based on my interaction here I found the locals to be quite fun loving and interactive. The locals here share their love for food and it is visible in their never ending list of cuisines. The weather here is pleasant throughout the year and the best time to visit the city is between the months of October to March. I found the food in the restaurants to be quite reasonably priced.
