Different educational goals

Different political cultures have different educational goals. The political culture of the ancient Chinese society was an official-based culture. Therefore, the purpose of education emphasizes cultivating the "ruling the country and the people" of the ruling talents. The private school that goes to the people also advocates "learning but the best is the official." Western ancient societies were originally God-centered, and it was argued that the purpose of education was to train monks. After the Renaissance, the human-oriented position occupied a dominant position in the society. Therefore, it is argued that the purpose of education is to develop human personality. Read more
