Eye felt a stirring of an odd regret CharlaXFabels 187seven Eye felt a stirring of an odd regret A remembrance of a youth That eye may have never had A look inside a healthy mind of man A desire to be the best in sports A baseball king He loved the game eye felt his fever His fervor was the aftershock of pain He attacked his home with some reluctance And offered then and there to make it right again. When his enemy is gone Then add his name again To the role To the banners on the field When the enemy has come and gone again Then we will live again Then we will live A horror at what they did to me A feeling of regret That eye did not fight them off But children need a man to take a fight And lay it down to stop And what iff eye had decked them both And caused them all some pain Would eye be any younger in my day? Or wiser in my play Or worldly in my say Or taller in my shorts Or wants The woman that you gave to me Oh GOD. The love that comes for real. She has it in abundance she has it more than me She is the receiver and a giver Eye a giver only To receive is quite beyond my power To give my function coldly.
