Naturalism is a creative method and ideological trend closely related to realism. Broadly speaking, works with naturalistic elements are also ubiquitous in the history of Chinese and foreign
literature. People take a look at the rejection of romantic imagination, exaggeration, and disregarding the typical generalization of realism in pursuit of absolute objectivity. Naturally, the
work that depicts and records the phenomena of life is called naturalism. In a narrow sense, naturalism refers to a kind of literary trend and movement represented by Zola and others in the
second half of the 19th century. The meaning of naturalism can be said to be more precise in Dana’s “Collection of History and Criticism” (t858).
