ItS Totally Normal.

Its totally normal. Even someone like me who writes for a living can find herself stuck some days.

Fortunately I have found 8 strategies that have really helped me get back on track and I want to share them with you!

Turn your copy into a letter!

That is right were on focused on being professional at times we forget the process can be fun! If you were writing a letter to Future You, what stories would you include?

Brain Dump

I remember once writing a top paper when I was younger by simply going to the library cracking it out for 3 hours straight. I only focused on the grammar and sentence structure after I was done.

Dress Up

You heard that right. Sometimes I found wearing a flowy comfortable dress with some mascara has allowed me to feel at ease and write some of my best pieces!

Read a Book

Sometimes were so focused on creating that picture perfect story we forget our WHY. The things we truly care about should be more fun than stress so why not get inspired by picking up a great memoir.

Call a Friend

You dont even realize but you already tell your friends so many stories that flow naturally.

Voice Record

Maybe you`re frustrated because you`re a speaker by nature more so than a writer . Use it to your advantage! Record your story then transcribe it/ The hard part is done!

Take a Walk
Hey some people get their best ideas in nature and even the shower. Bask in nature energy.

Participate in a Clubhouse Networking Room always can usereddit essay writing - it is easy.Clubhouse is THE Storytelling app. I nicknamed it that because every room networking or even branding is people sharing their stories.

So, this doesn't mean it's the only way to make a living. We're waiting for the plumber right now. It's an emergency call. The downstairs toilet overflowed while I was taking a shower

That's all to say, I don't need the plumber to tell me who I am, based on his findings of the septic system. I really hope he won't.
But, as I get all these wonderful submissions (absolutely solicited) for the Forbes 50 Over 50, I'm seeing a pattern.

One after another, in all different ways, Shrimpers are saying that I help them be more of themselves, find their voices, lose the "biz-speak" affect in their writing, shed fake personas, go against the grain, stop hiding, etc

Also, I'm proof of this theory as a customer.
I've paid a lot for help figuring out my book idea, my signature talk, my "lewks" for a photoshoot, even (gasp) my human design!

And any purchases from Shopbop or Sephora help me be more of who I am when who I am is someone who doesn't live in sweats (AKA GivenUps) and dry shampoo.

Do you help people find out, or be more of, who they are? How?
