it's not that im not willing to change, i am.its just that I grew up in tha hood. then to be moved out 2 tha burbs with all these uppity ass old ppl...its unreal. now i eat ramen noodles by choice and not by force.i have my own bed,and all the perks of being upper middle class. but i can't help but long for just rockin it wit mi girls back in Saints Court Projects. doin simple shit like walkin 2 tha corner store 15 deep,havin loud impromptu block parties,havin a house full of folks over just to talk about simple stuff,to gossip. I miss sittin on the porch or in the laundromat wit mi girls. i don't miss the ignorant n-words that was alwayz tryna get at me even though they was old enough 2 be mi daddy and i don't miss how tha streets took out ppl we knew and the bitchassness that shot off daily, but i definetly can get down with the comfort of knowin damn near everybody you see on the block and not eva truly bein alone. The hood is all I really know.
