PS - Interesting articles I found in my attempt to stay up-to-date with world news (please send some over to me if you find any!):

Protecting HBV chronic carriers from discrimination (or not, but at least they're attempting) - China CDC, 07/17/2007. [http://www.chinacdc.net.cn/n272562/n276003/18338.html]

Clinton leads Obama in polls - NYT, 10/03/2007 (not the article I read a few days ago, but close enough and very succint). [http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/10/03/2008-postabc-poll/]

Imprisoned monks continue to make noise - you go, monks. - globeandmail.com, 10/03/2007. [http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/LAC.20071003.MYANMAR03/TPStory/TPInternational/Asia/]
Note: I always want to stop one of the monks in Xining and talk to them, but never do. They always, surprisingly, look a little intimidating (they always seem to have an entourage of non-monk friends who look very pimped out and like they're not to be messed with). Plus, how am I supposed to start a conversation with them, or ask them about Myanmar/Burma, when I don't even know how to say "monk" in Chinese. I suppose I should at least try. We did get a photo with one though (see flickr), but even he was very ready to run away from us.

"Bush Makes Surprise Visit To Work" - The Onion, 09/26/2007. [http://www.theonion.com/content/news/bush_makes_surprise_visit_to_work] - Thank you Russell!

Also, special thanks to Kristan for helping me through some flickr issues, though I must say I'm way too lazy and impatient to fix all of my previous albums with this internet.
