Contacted RobertsonSurrette and they indicated that they would contact me at home to determine if the resume was received. Then, the resume would be filed. If anything comes up they would call me.

Echhh .. this is not an active search strategy, but a passive one. I need to adopt a more active search strategy.

I have rewritten the cover letter to be sent to the schools. I want to create a strategy for moving ahead with this. Tonight I would like to send an electronic copy. I then want to send a hard copy to follow. I will then call to follow up.

Last nightI submitted my resume to KMA. I submitted a cover letter, education resume and business resume. I could not submit it by their usual web site method. I had to send it to their email address. I called at about 3pm today to see if they received my resume. I had to leave a message and asked them to call back at my home number to confirm that they had received the resumes. I wonder if the business is even operational still. It seems strange that their website would not be working properly and they would not be answering the phone. Time to look for another agency.

I have written to RobertsonSurrette, who seem to be based in multiple cities. They have an affiliation with KMA. I have included an email, cover letter, both resumes and my references from Worth.

I have written to AMTEC to find out how I can join online without having to send a money order in the mail. They may have some opportunities that are not posted elsewhere.

I will also send my resumes to Clint with the references to see what kind of feedback on them he can drum up.

I picked up a message from Jim Ledingham at 8:26pm on May 19th to say that GM has asked for an expedite order of some size and that we would have to run production on the 20th to accomodate. The downtime arranged for Noon - 3pm is now problem.

I called Wendy Ledingham at about 7:30am and they confirmed that a team was coming in to operate E04 and F23 at 8am for 8 hours. I indicated that I would try and contact Jeff Hogan to postpone the downtime.

At 9:00am I called Jeff Hogan. I waited until then as I knew he was a late riser. There was no answer on the cell phone. It went straight to voice mail. I indicated that we had a problem and to call me on my cell phone number. I gave him the number. Immediately afterwards, I contacted Madlyn and let her know that there was a problem. The message was left on her voicemail. I indicated that I had tried to contact Jeff Hogan, but that there was no answer.

Madlyn called me back at 9:30am and I discussed the problem with her. She indicated that she had tried to contact Jeff, but that there was no answer. I explained the problem and indicated that I was going to go on the assumption that I could not contact Jeff in time and that I was going to try and arrange for production to stop for 3 hours to accomodate the downtime. I said I would get back to her.

I called Jim Ledingham at about 9:40pm and left a message asking if the downtime could still be accomodated. I left a message with him.

Directly afterward, Jim called back and indicated that stopping production for 3 hours would not be possible. We discussed further what would happen if the systems went down at Noon. I indicated to him that as long as all of the components were in the Pick Locations inventory moves would not be an issue. They would not be able to scan production at this time. Jim indicated that they would not be shipping.

I contacted Yuko to ask her to make sure that Fourth Shift remain up for Jeremy who needed to do a shipment. She was already running the purge and had been since 8:00am

I called Wendy to let her know that the system MAY go down at Noon
