this quote is true because you learn from your mistakes by messing things up and once you feel that pain you dont want to feel it once again so you try your hardest to not feel that pain that you once had. when you loose a game or something that you love you learn from it by going over what you have done wrong in order to experience that loss. then you can also study the way your opponet has deafeated you and you can obtain more knowledge from it. i have experienced this in many different ways such as a basketball game when i go on the court and loose a game i try to see what kind of mistakes i made. one other way i have felt this is when i couldn't get a girlfriend at all i try to change my ways of going after them but i always end up making the same mistakes. at times i like getting beat because i get to improve from looking at my mistake and then i have potential to become a better player once i become at the top of my game i will be happy because i would have reached my biggest goal to be really good at basketball
