Dark and dreary posted my comment on what election day meant to me. It meant that I had an opportunity to vote for another incredibly wealthy man, and keep the tradition of only the rich in power and only the lonely are poor. But as Spencer Kimball might say, only the poor of spirit are lonely, and nobody has to be poor of spirit. Had a good workout, 3m. run, roller blading and a swim.

The election is tomorrow. AS all the politicians belong to the top 1% of the wealthiest Americans, why don't just the 1% of the wealthiest Americans vote? Then the victors can claim they were elected by their peers. They make all the decisions that the remaining 99% adhere to. Eleanor Roosevelt certainly qualified to belong to that elite group.

Went for 3m. run, then 30 laps in the pool. I answer my detractors with indiffernce, at least I try to. Watched football, what a violent sport. WOW. He thought he could win He knew he could win When he drank gin He would win But, it was only the gin He never did win

I just love your questions. None really, I like to think of my son's being starting linebacker for the National Champions. But none in all honesty. I think the most fulfilling experiences are right now when I access my feelings, so long buried in a quagmire.

What I expected from others and for the most part, never received, was a friendly smile, and as a bonus, a hello, and as a super bonus, having them actually wanting to do something with me. To ans. the question, now. I don't expect anything, if I receive something, it's a bonus. I went for a swim, this morning, I had a good run, Last night, I went to a forum, a Muslim Dr. was speaking on Islam, and about half way through an agitator got up and started a diatribe against Muslims. He did enliven, an otherwise dull night.

I'm still looking for myself. I may be finding it as I get more in touch with my feelings and am able to convey to a friend. Muslim civic leader gives a lecture, or forum, tonight at JCC.

I define love as a combination of lust and tenderness. That's it. You can look it up in Bartlett's Familiar Quotations, and find a lot of different definitions, but there is only one, and that's mine.

nothing really. I do write poetry and put it on line, maybe they gain something from that. Here's one I wrote, it's a poetic thought. He never knew there was a tree He never knew ther was a sea Then someone came and took his hand And let him feel a tree And let him feel the sea

Got 5m. on the trail, 16 laps in the pool. Wrote a nice poem. Dust, dust, everywhere Then comes the wind, sun and heat Clouds of locusts Softly settle on the wheat Nothing left, but sun and heat fields of wheat, nothing left Dust and dispair Everywhere

The Barnyard Poet is back, A rainy day, I made the most of it. Their were no calls, no calls at all. That's typical. I'm beginning to enjoy my life. The simple little pleasures, is all I ask for. This is a very plesant time for me. I read a little of Robert Frost, Ezra Pound, and Carl Sandburg, They were a witty group of guys.

Lollie and I flew to Miami last weekend. It was beautiful. Lollie wanted to stay at the Copacabana, so thats where we stayed. She is so grand, I think thatI am getting very interested. Went for a airplane ride over to Nassau, got a jade ring, and went to Paradise Island. Flew back to Miami later on.

Today, very cool and rainy. Had a good time though, went for a swim, sailed out around Vera Cruz. Just made shrimp salad, and am going to watch the news.
