Chester-Le-Street: Paul Collingwood's unbeaten hundred on his Durham home ground steered England to a first innings lead in the fourth and final Test against the West Indies at Riverside here Monday.
At tea, on the fourth day, England were 341 for seven in reply to West Indies' 287, a lead of 54 runs.

Karachi: Former Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore was left as the main contender to coach troubled Pakistan after his Australian compatriot Steve Rixon ruled himself out.
Pakistan are due to shortlist candidates later this week to replace Bob Woolmer, who died at the World Cup in Jamaica in March prompting a police investigation and controversy.
Police this week announced that he died of natural causes, not murder.

Abu Dhabi: Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by five wickets in the 1st ODI here on Friday after a superb 73 off just 34 balls from Shahid Afridi.

He even managed to hit 32 off just one over for the second highest number of runs scored in an over, to convert what could have been a tough match into an easy victory with eight overs to spare.

Paul Collingwood and Ian Bell put on 144 for the fifth wicket as England dominated West Indies on the second day of the first Test at Lord's.

Collingwood was finally bowled by Dwayne Bravo after hitting 111, his fourth Test century, to leave Bell and debutant Matt Prior at the crease.

With the scoreboard reading 372-5 at tea and the second new ball losing its shine, England retained the momentum.
